Last Saturday was a big day. Joan and Kyle got married and I was in charge of taking the rings down the aisle. Everyone kept asking me if I was something called a ring bearer, whatever that meant. All I knew was that I got to carry a motorcycle in the church. We went to the church afterschool to practice. I paid attention and then got to play soccer with some big boys. The next day I woke up and was so excited for Joan's wedding! I got to wear a tie and looked handsome, and like a six year old. Charlie had to stay home and Mom, Dad, and I went back to the church. This time there were a lot of people. I got really nervous. I was happy to see Kyle, but then he had to hide. Mom said he wasn't allowed to see Joan. Joan looked like a princess. I told her Kyle was hiding. I didn't want to let go of Mom or Dad's hands, but Mom told me it was time to walk up the aisle with the motorcycle. Kyle was in the front of the church waving to me and calling me to come. Mom said it was OK and she'd see me at the front. So I let go of her hand and ran up to Kyle. He caught me. Then I had to stand in front for a little while while the priest talked. Then I had to sit while the priest talked some more. Good thing I got to go to my chair. I kept getting tired and asking mom to pick me up, but she wouldn't. She told me if I could stay quiet and be good that I could have two hot wheels. I love Mom. Later everyone said I did a good job as a ring bearer and was as fast as a motorcycle. I really had fun at the party. I kept asking mom who's birthday it was, but she told me it was a party for Joan and Kyle. Whatever it was, I had fun and got to stay up really late! Mom and Dad are really happy for Joan and Kyle. I'm happy too. Here are some pictures from the wedding.
