And I thought chickens laid eggs

I didn't like eggs until this past week. Mom said it was the Easter bunny that came and hid eggs for me to find. But these weren't the kind that I usually see that come from chickens. These eggs were different colors and you could open them to find lots of yummies and other treats inside. The bunny even brought me a funny monkey puppet, a book, and some new cars. We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house in South Carolina. I had lots of fun. Every morning I set up an Autorama for Grandpa and he got to see all of my cars. Grandma took me to get ice cream and we went to the playground. I got to see lots of birds, alligators, and even dolphins when we went to the beach. I tried to catch a seagull, but it kept running and flew away from me. Tomorrow Auntie Heather is coming to play with me!

Funny Ben Stories

So I thought it was time to share some of my favorite stories about Ben. Ben is saying a lot more now, and we think we understand most of what he says, or at least we get the gist of it. He has stories to share and keeps us laughing. Here are some Ben funnies:
  • The other day we went to Sam's club to run a few errands. Ed had strained his back and when he got into the car he said "oh my freakin back" (yes, he did say freakin, not the other word). Ben was strapped in his car seat in the back and added his 2 cents with "oh it's freakin cold". And yes he was right, it was a very cold morning!
  • Ben's has had the stomach flu twice in the last two months. During one of his episodes, Ed attempted to catch a certain liquid in his hands. As Ed made his way to the bathroom he starting saying under his breath "god oh god", trying carefully not spill anything. So Ben started to say "Daddy, god oh god...." over and over again.
  • We were driving down the road and when we stopped at a light I saw a flat bed truck with about four porta-potties on the back. I said to Ben "Look Ben those are potties on that truck" and I explained the idea of a porta-potty to him. When the light turned green and the truck pulled away Ben started yelling " bye bye poop, bye poop" over and over.
  • Ben's favorite words: up pick car (pick up truck), yummies, noodles, baby, kitty, hi honey, 'kay (okay), two minutes, tanks (thanks), nigh-nigh (night night for bedtime), boopball (football), keen (for Lightening McQueen) and any of the other names of the Cars movie characters, mall, Target, and Big Cake

more to come.....

Busy Days

Mom, Dad, and I have been really busy lately. I've been playing hard at home and at school. I am finally settling into the Star room at school and really like my teachers Ms. Sasha and Ms. Alice. And best of all my best buddies Sabrina and Josephine are Stars too! I was missing my old teacher Ms. Monisa so mommy and daddy thought it would be fun if we all had dinner with her. I am glad I got to see her. I also got to see a bunch of others friends like Heather, Jayson, Elisabeth, Tommy and we watched a basketball game on TV. Our team won! Then we got to see baby Abby and her mommy and daddy too! I got to play golf this weekend in the yard and I helped daddy rake leaves. And I got my hair cut!

A couple of weeks ago I got a hold of one of my sticker books. Mommy busted me.
